1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, interacting with our digital content, making a table reservation or visiting The Miller Arms in person, you agree to be bound by these comprehensive Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or booking services.

2. Table Reservations and Deposits

  • Arrival Times: We kindly request that all guests arrive promptly for their scheduled booking. Your table will be held for a maximum of 15 minutes past your booking time. If you are running late, please contact us immediately on 01253 759 107. We reserve the explicit right to release your table to walk-in guests if we do not hear from you within this grace period.
  • Deposits and Pre-Orders: For larger parties, special seasonal events (such as Christmas Day or Mother’s Day) or private functions, we may require a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. This will be clearly communicated to you at the time of booking. Pre-orders for food may also be required for large groups to ensure smooth service.
  • Cancellations and Amendments: If you need to cancel, amend your party size or change the time of your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. Repeated no-shows without prior cancellation may result in future booking requests being declined.

3. Food, Allergens and The Greedy Badger

The kitchen at The Miller Arms operates under the brand name The Greedy Badger. We pride ourselves on using fresh ingredients sourced from local butchers, fishmongers and vegetable suppliers.

  • Allergen Warning: While we take every reasonable precaution to prevent cross-contamination, our kitchen regularly handles major allergens including nuts, gluten, dairy and shellfish. It is absolutely essential that you inform our staff of any severe allergies or specific dietary requirements before placing your order. We cannot guarantee that any dish is 100% free from microscopic allergen traces.
  • Menu Subject to Change: Because we rely on seasonal and local produce, our menus, dish descriptions and prices are subject to change without prior notice based on ingredient availability.

4. Code of Conduct and Right to Refuse Service

The Miller Arms is a family-friendly establishment dedicated to providing a welcoming community atmosphere. We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards staff abuse. We reserve the strict right to refuse service, ask individuals to leave the premises or ban future entry to anyone who behaves in a disruptive, aggressive or inappropriate manner towards our staff members or other patrons.

Furthermore, in accordance with UK licensing laws, we will not serve alcohol to anyone who appears heavily intoxicated or anyone unable to provide valid photographic identification when challenged under the Challenge 25 policy.

5. Dog Policy

We are exceptionally proud to be a dog-friendly venue. However, to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, this policy is subject to strict rules. Dogs are warmly welcomed in the designated bar area only. All dogs must be kept on a short lead, kept off all pub furniture and managed responsibly by their owners at all times. Dogs are strictly prohibited from entering the main restaurant dining area.

6. Intellectual Property

This includes but is not limited to all written text, food photography, architectural images and the specific logos for The Miller Arms and The Greedy Badger. You may not reproduce, copy or distribute any of this material without our prior written consent.
